Searching for Effective Therapies: Film Debut Highlights

While we were in Chicago for a screening of our new documentary, Epilepsy: In Search of Effective Therapies, we were pleased that Chanda Gunn, World Champion and Olympic Bronze-medalist, led us on an ice skating event aimed at raising funds to find new therapies for epilepsy. This event was one of many screenings that we are hosting across the country to enhance awareness about epilepsy and the needs of those who struggle with seizures on a daily basis. A star-studded evening was the highlight of our New York film screening. DJ Hapa, the internationally known disc jockey from Los Angeles was our special guest. Please read about the event by going to http://www.epilepsy.com/articles/ar_1164901097.html.

This documentary was made to raise awareness about the pressing need for new treatments. We wish to share with you the stories of those who compel us to achieve our mission. Interviews and commentaries with those featured in the film, living with epilepsy, can be found at http://www.epilepsy.com/articles/ar_1162319327.html
