It’s National Epilepsy Awareness Month and we’re challenging everyone to learn seizure first aid.
It sounds easy, but most people are not sure what to do or think it’s harder than it really is! The Epilepsy Foundation has simplified seizure first aid to 3 steps: STAY. SAFE. SIDE.
- Please join Wendy Miller PhD, RN, and Patty Osborne Shafer RN, MN, for a Facebook Live: "Stay Safe Side and More Seizure First Aid."
- Learn the correct and incorrect ways to help people during a seizure.
- We'll share examples of focal seizures that can be hard to recognize, too.
- Share your experiences with seizure first aid and help us spread the word!
