About Epilepsy Foundation North Carolina

The Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina, a non-profit 501(C) 3 agency, is an affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation and United Way and is supported primarily by donations. It serves North Carolina and the upper region of South Carolina. A few of the services provided include a toll-free HelpLine, information and referral, Epilepsy Medication Fund, support groups, in service training for professionals, free packets of information, individual, group and family counseling, school consultation and in service programs for teachers, employer awareness programs, epilepsy workshops for the community, patient advocacy and free basketball camps for children with epilepsy and autism.
