The Epilepsy Foundation West Virginia: Founded in December 2018 by the Epilepsy Foundation of America to support the foundation’s mission “to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.” We work in West Virginia to: connect people effected by epilepsy to the resources available to them; provide support in learning how to live a full life with epilepsy; advocate for people with epilepsy when needed; create awareness of issues related to epilepsy; provide education to various groups; and raise dollars to support the cause.
