barrington bears

Our Barrington Bears program provides teddy bears to children who are admitted to the hospital due to their epilepsy. The Barrington Bears are named after Bridget Barrington, who passed away at eight years old from epilepsy. Bridget's family funds the program in Bridget's honor and memory.

For a child, the hospital can be a scary place. And for a child with epilepsy, a hospitalization can mean a lengthy stay. The Barrington Bears provide children a feeling of comfort and care, and are always available for a hug or squeeze when it's most needed.

If your child or a child you know is facing a hospitalization due to epilepsy, please contact us. It would be our honor to give him or her a Barrington Bear.
