Epilepsy Foundation Montana

Over 10,000 People in Montana are Living with Epilepsy
The Epilepsy Foundation Montana provides programs and services that support people and families impacted by epilepsy. With the strength of a national organization and network of epilepsy experts, EFMT provides national scope and local impact.
From ground breaking research to SUDEP support, local educational programs and a 24/7 Helpline, Epilepsy Foundation Montana is here to serve you.
We are leading the fight to END EPILEPSY® in Montana by supporting and mobilizing the epilepsy community through educational activities, direct services, advocacy, as well as research to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. The Foundation also seeks to educate the general public to better understand epilepsy and seizure disorders, including knowing proper seizure first aid.

Programs & Resources

Over the course of multiple weekly sessions, participants develop coping and goal-setting strategies that improve overall and discrete aspects of quality of life, epilepsy self-management, and address anxiety and depression. The program’s structure has been validated by randomized, controlled trials in multiple states. Its framework and curriculum, delivered via facilitated group sessions, is proven effective.
