Volunteer Opportunities

Did you know that there are 69,500 people in Indiana who have epilepsy?

Did you also know that even one person volunteering their time helps us better serve the thousands of Hoosiers across the state who are in need of support and resources?

While we are a state-wide Epilepsy Foundation chapter, our reach across the state could grow drastically with your help. We are approaching the busiest time of year for the Epilepsy Foundation, and are proud to announce we have added several walks, events and programs we are hosting. We need YOUR help to make them a success! Create an account on our VolunteerHub webpage to see what volunteer opportunities we need filled! Visit here to get started!

New Volunteer Position Update:

Epilepsy Awareness Ambassador : Ambassadors work to virtually grow epilepsy awareness across their community by engaging in monthly activities that promote the Epilepsy Foundation's mission, programs, and education objectives.

Attention Nurses:

One of the several free trainings that we offer is our School Nurse Training. While this training can be accessed and taken online, when provided in person, has to be completed by an RN. If you or someone you know would be intersted in becoming a certified trainer for the Epilepsy Foundation and would be willing to help us host School Nurse Trainings, please email indiana@efa.org.

Please email indiana@efa.org for any questions or concerns. Thank you!
