Dill Pickle and Avocado Relish

A simple combination that will persuade anyone to eat avocado! The cool dill pickle is a great compliment to many entrées. Try this served with grilled chicken or shrimp. You can even combine with tuna salad or homemade tuna patties. Perfect for summer!

  • 50 grams (about 1/4 cup) Hass avocado, diced small
  • 36 grams (about 1/8 cup) Claussen Kosher Dill Pickle, diced finely
  • 5 grams (about 1/3 tablespoon) avocado oil
  • Optional: salt, red pepper flakes, extra pickle juice


  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Add a teaspoon at a time of pickle juice to completely coat the avocado.
  3. Slightly mash some of the avocado pieces to thicken the consistency.
  4. Serve immediately.
