The EF Kentuckiana operates as the only non-profit organization providing comprehensive programs, services, and support to children, adults, and veterans living with and affected by epilepsy/seizures throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. The EF Kentuckiana is committed to leading the fight to overcome the difficult challenges and heartbreaking consequences caused by seizures. Considering 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy in their lifetime, our fight against epilepsy/seizures has never been more important and we are stronger when we fight together!

Programs & Resources
Education
The EF Kentuckiana is committed to providing proper seizure recognition and first aid training and educational programs to individuals throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. Programs are customized to meet the training requirements for various groups (i.e., educators, school nurses, students, first responders, etc.).
Direct Client Support
The EF Kentuckiana provides direct client support through referral, prescription assistance programs, legal services, utility assistance, landlord/tenant assistance, employment programs, SSI/SSDI, food stamps, Medicare/Medicaid/other health insurance options, neuropsychological evaluations, and any other service(s) needed.
Advocacy
The EF Kentuckiana works diligently to advocate for those living with epilepsy throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana when a client's (whether adult or child) medical, educational, or occupational needs/rights are in question. The EF Kentuckiana is also involved in advocating for people with epilepsy through state and federal legislation.
Operation Outreach for Veterans
The EF Kentuckiana offers its Operation Outreach program to veterans to educate veterans and their families and assist with issues associated with post-traumatic epilepsy, psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
