I also started having seizures around 12 yrs old b/c of puberty. I have thought about having one to try and stop seizures but I don't think it works for everyone. My obgyn suggested removing my ovaries since that is where your estrogen comes from. My seizures are triggered by high levels of estrogen and stress. I'm 45 yrs old and hoping that maybe menopause will help get them under better control. According to this site, that doesn't always help but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
