Pseudo seizures mystery

Tue, 12/20/2016 - 16:14
Hi, my name is Melina and I am 21 years old. Last April I got really sick. I had a headache, senstaive to light, sensitive to noise, flew like symptoms. No doctor was able to figure out what it was. I had every test done everything came back normal. During this time a few weeks in I fainted in my doctors office and then had seizure like activity. During my seizure axcitvity my heart rate/pulse was high it would go about to 200. One of my seizure like activity was caught on the 24 hour EEG and it was normal Nothing was found. But when I came out of this one I had stroke like symptoms, slurred speech, couldn't move half of my body, and it eventually passed (it was not a real stroke). After that I was getting better but still had Residuals like confusion, weakness, slower stomach system, and more. After that i did not get the fainting or pseudo seizures again. Until I was put under light anesthesia for an endoscopy . When I came out I had my seizure like activity again and my heart rate was high too again up in the 130. The EEG again came out normal. At this point my MRI, EEG, and 24 hour EEG was normal. I just got my wisdom teeth out and again coming out of my Anastasia I had my seizure like activity. This time it lasted longer because I was under full anesthesia and my heart rate was high again up in 120/130. I was told stress can cause this, but I was evaluated by the psychiatrist, have had a full psyche eval, and saw my psychologist at school just to be sure, I handle stress well and my phycholsigist at my school who I saw the whole semester also believes it might not be because of stress. I am not sure what to do. I am not looking forward to getting another EEG and just being told it's stressed. I feel medication has a correlation with my episodes, especially high dose. Any opinions? And none of us are crazy or faking it. Not every symptom is going to be easy and match up with a test. Sadly though these mysteries aren't always in doctors favors to keep exploring. And I know stress is harmful and may play a factor, but I can't just feel there is more happening in my body.
