gestational epilepsy and peri menopause

I had gestational epilepsy with both of my pregnancies and afterwards when I stopped breast feeding. That was quite some time ago!
I'm starting to experience peri menopausal symptoms and I'm worried that a fluctuation in hormones could induce seizures again. Has anyone any advice or has experienced similar?

Im not a lot of help, but have some questions. I started having my seizures when my daughter (2nd baby) was 4-5 months and I wondered if hormones could be related. My hope is that after weaning from breast feeding, they will stop. How did you know it was just related to pregnancy/BF when you had yours?
