Watching my sister suffer

My name is Mel I am 27. I have a sister who just turned 19. She has been suffering with epilepsy since she was about 5 years old. It has progressed along the years. From multiple seizures in a day to none for a while and now to a new type of seizure that doctors can’t seem to understand why it happens. She been a loner pretty much her whole youth. To try to find friends that understand what she’s going through has been a hardship. She has gotten her heart broken from this cruel world. When people don’t understand why we are the way we are, they treat you differently. I write on here hoping I can find a few young people going through the same thing as she is to be her support. Everyone in our family can be there for her but we can’t say we know how she feels. I feel she deserves to know she isn’t the only person out in this world going through tough times.

I also would be happy to talk to anyone about personal experiences around seizures as i am constantly watching my brother to make sure hes okay. We think it could be either mould from marijuana, flyspray contaminated marijuana, dehydration, sleep deprivation. Me and my bro have been smoking streetweed for 4 years in New Zealand and this has never happened to him before. We have tried synthetic marijuana once or twice so i personally know how that drug affected me.
