Partner having seizures

Sun, 02/11/2018 - 09:09
My boyfriend that is 18 years old has been having tonic clonic seizures for the past few months now. From what we know of he has had 5 of them in the past 5 months. Today was the first time I was with when he had one. My boyfriend always has them in his sleep; the Question I have is after my boyfriend is done convulsing he yells and kinda moves around like dragging his body with his arms eyes wide open and then after he does that for about 2 minutes he lays down and groans loud for a while. Does anyone have a similar experience or know if this is normal?

Some people can have

Some people can have different reactions after seizures. It is just their way of coming out of one. For an example I have changed over the years. when I was younger I would just cry when I would come out of one then just walk of and because I was so tired go to bed. Now because my seizures have changed over the years coming out of one has changed as well. I now just sit there looking around and then eventually go to be again as well. As all of my doctors have said to me in the past "Every case is different"

It is true that every case is

It is true that every case is different but when it is done you want to make sure he is breathing when I come out of mine I just freeze for a cupple seconds then I fall asleep for an hour or 2 but during the tonic clinic I can’t breathe and my lips turn purple/blue. I always start breathing as soon as it is over but you can never be too careful.
