Hi "Frozen in Morning" - Hannah Mae
Years ago I worked in a gym as a physical therapist;
Some folks came in really messed up AND out of shape.
Others were just messed up, but in reasonable shape.
And others we fine, but out of shape.
SO PEOPLE COME IN ALL FLAVORS.
The first thing I remind them is what you eat
affects every cell in your body. Eat junk you
become junk.
Eat fresh food you can grow in your backyard
like oranges, greens, melons; whatever and
you pick up the energy - the life - that is
in live foods.
Start there - you can make that change
in a split second.
The next thing - when it comes to muscle
control, muscle tone, feeling energized
or paralyzed, all comes from nerves and
muscles and blood flow and nutrients and
oxygen in that flow.
So folks who work out a lot have extra
hemoglobin - oxygen carriers - and
usually lots of oxygen going.
Folks who sit around and watch TV start
to look a lot like an old couch.
When was the last time you did 20 - 30
minutes of gentle stretching; yoga
style...or meditation...deep breathing
or even a little rubber-band style
weights? Pick some exercises you feel
you can do safely and do them.
Just cause you are an epi doesn't restrict
you any more than folks with a bad back
or knee have to choose their regime carefully.
So ... there are some things you can do that
will increase blood flow, cardiac health
and oxygen for your brain and body.
THAT, combined with a good diet and just
a little experimenting with nutrients
may make this morning paralysis disappear
or at least become more manageable.
There also may be a brain issue; who knows?
But even a prudent doctor is going to first
see if you are eating right and exercising
at least a little...
...don't jump onto meds because you stubbed
your toe until you give your toe a chance
to heal attached to a body that is working
at getting healthier.
