Is this epilepsy? Very short seizure with long breaks inbetween

I am 14 years old. I had a seizure first time about 2 years ago. My second seizure was 3 months ago, and I had a third seizure 2 months ago. Ever since I didn't have a seizure.
Seizures that I had were very little. They were absence seizures that lasted abou 0.5 to 1 second. I also noticed that all seizures that I ever had happened ONLY when I was extremelely weak because of not sleeping well.
Is this epilepsy or do the seizures come from sleeping poorly? If the seizures come from sleeping poorly, what can be done beyond sleeping well ro prevent seizures like that?
