Hardness around VNS machine?

Thu, 05/14/2015 - 12:24
Hi everyone. I had a VNS implant put in a couple of years ago. Recently, we noticed that the area around the implant is getting really hard & I now have a visible bump on my chest where the VNS implant is. Has anyone else had this happen?

I am also keeping track of this thread, because my husband's neuro is also recommending this. If anyone has considered VNS and then whether you've gotten it (or not) I would love to hear your reasoning and thoughts. Am new to the epilepsy world and not sure this is the path my husband should be on.Any help is appreciated.
