Unsure

I have been having what I call episodes for the past few years. Last year I had my first major one. I was sitting in my car waiting for my husband and my stomach felt like I was on a roller coaster I then threw up and felt really out of it afterwards. Almost like I was in a dream or was drugged then the feeling got stronger I felt very calm and then started getting a feeling of joy come over me and couldn't stop laughing this lasted off and on for an hour. I went to the ER anf they had no answers. I have had 4 MRIS and an EEG all negative. I have since had this dream like feeling almost once to twice a month not as bad no laughing or throwing up. I did however have another laughing episode yesterday and it freaked me out. I usually get them around the time of my period or if I have any physical stress ie. A cold or workout to hard. I also get a mild headache afterwards and feel extremely exhausted. Please if this sound familiar to anyone I'd love to figure it out. Thanks

4 MIR's and a EEG. They all

4 MIR's and a EEG. They all came back negative. Meaning in the 4 MRI's they saw nothing different on your brain. The EEG is a brain wave test that shows the electrical impulses in your brain during the test. If it was a short test they may not have seen abnormalities which is what they are wanting to see. I had 20+25 different EEG's that cam back normal (negative). But then I had a longer one in which I fell asleep in that showed abnormalities in the left lobes of my brain. By seeing them the neurologists then looked at the MRI and they looked closer and in the lobes that the abnormalities showed scar tissue on those lobes. The scar tissue was caused by a blow to my head when I was 7-8 yoa.. But right now they see nothing on your brain that can cause electrical impulses to hit wrong. Many different things can show up on an MRI> A growth on your brain like a tumor.  cell growth that grew wrong. ANYTHING that I different in any way is what they are looking for.All of the things you posted about could be seizures or parts of different seizures. Those feelings and headache and feeling tired could be the postictal state (the time it takes for your brain and body to get back to normal)There are many women how have seizures during their monthly period of time. Oh and stress is a trigger for seizures in some people. You need to get referred to a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy (epileptologist) They may want a longer EEG. They do ambulatory EEG's or a video EEG which is done in a seizure ward in a hospital. Both are longer and in both they getting information during the time period you are in one. I have had both of themI hope this helpsJoe

I used to have "The Aura"

I used to have "The Aura" like De-ja-vu for many years and didn't know what it was before I ever had a seizure and used to kind of like it. Later on if I felt it coming on I would consciously avoid it and resist it and I am absolutely certain that I can avoid or resist a seizure coming on with my own will-power and have done so on many occasions.
