Pseudo seizures and Photosensitive epilepsy?

Thu, 11/02/2017 - 15:51
Hello, My husband is a fairly healthy 45 year old male he does suffer from a mental illness but back in January of this year he started having seizures he woke up very confused and I took him to the hospital they did all this testing on him to make sure he wasn't bleeding on his brain or anything they sent him to another hospital and attempted to an EEG and they were not successful so they sent him home and he started having absent seizures. So needless to say he continued having seizures we have changed his medications numerous times. Well he ended up having another EEG where they said he had pseudo seizures but they are also trigged by lighting like strobe lights and or any time of lighting for that matter. He has to wear sunglasses while watching TV because if anything flashes it will give him a seizure. It has really affected our whole life. Does anyone have any insight for us?
