Post lobectomy surgery

I am a 44 year old wife and mother of 5 and three weeks had a right temporal lobectomy. Can anyone share with me their experience and how long it took to be a regular functioning person. I just want to be able to make meals. Clean up and give my husband and kids the wife and mother they deserve and so desperately need. PLEASE ADVISE.

I had lobectomy in 2013 and went back to work after 7 weeks off.  Driving after about a month.  Till this day I rarely have headaches, but I am still on medication tegretol 200 twice a day.  It does get better and I am going to be 46yrs old.
