Epilepsy and Education

Sun, 12/10/2017 - 14:01
I have idiopathic generalized Epilepsy as well as Juvenile Myclonic Epilepsy. I wanted to be more than someone with Epilepsy. I decided to get my degree. I went to college and earned my degree. Upon my exit counseling, I found the Total and Permanent Disability section. I applied and got it. I then realized that Nelnet has poverty guidelines for people with disabilities. I am in an internship and work for the government. I was scrubbing toilets before this. This may sound like a bunch of money but I really don't after bills, food, copays, medicine and psychiatric visits. Now Nelnet (student loan) is threatening to take my livelihood away from me by reinstating my loans that they discharged. Is anyone else having this problem?
