Dreaming about seizures

Hello. I woke up at 4am to feed my 3 month old, she finishes, put her back to bed and then I went to lay back down. I started to fall asleep, but like normal I have a hard time falling back asleep and always thinking about everything. I dozed off and thought I was having a seizure. The same ear noises were starting, I tried yelling for my husband, he came running towards me, then I woke up. Realized it was a dream. I didn’t bite my tongue like usual and my husband was snoring next to me. Lol. Has this happened to anyone? I have a fear of having more seizures with my baby, it happened when my son was this age. I had encephalitis that caused me to have seizures.

If this happens often you should speak with your neurologist about it. Dreams are often just dreams. But if you have seizures and you dream about it often, that might actually be different. If it happens often maybe you should speak with your neurologist about getting a 72-hour EEG. That's the EEG where they set it up and send you home. The beauty of the 72-hour EEG is it captures activity while you are awake and while you are sleeping. That way the neurologist can do a wide comparison. Think about it.Best Regards
