Broken bones

I had a seizure at work on 2.7.19. I am a 29 yr old female, with no history of seizure... I was sitting at my desk doing a loan application for my customer, when next thing I know I'm laying on the floor in a pool of blood in the most pain I've ever felt in my life. Emergency ppl were all around asking me questions that I couldn't answer. I had no idea how old I was, the date, who was president, where I was... Only thing I could remember was my name. Was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with an inferior & anterior dislocation of left shoulder, broken left proximal humerus, facial laceration above my left eye needing four stitches, and a concussion. Don't know why I happened and I've been waiting to get tests done for a month now. It seems like no one else that has commented went through an incident as bad as this... Is this normal seizure aftermath??? It seems like my seizure was pretty massive to cause such bodily harm. Anyone experience something like this? Any advice or comments as to why it happened?? I remember feeling abnormally tired the morning it happened. But I'm always tired, and never sleep well, so I didn't think much it?

It hasn't happened to me but

It hasn't happened to me but I've read accounts of people dislocating shoulders and breaking teeth, and other such quite harmful things.Seizures can come out of the blue, and quite often the cause is not identified, though there are some causes that may be identified as well. It may be that it is a one-off. Be wary about starting the epilepsy drugs if you've only had one seizure and tests come back normal. Don't let what one person with epilepsy described as the 'epilepsy train' take over your life. You can get into a cycle of drug changes and dose increases and so on. She ended up even having surgery when she wasn't convinced that it was necessary. I'm not saying that you won't need medical intervention. Some people do. But doctors are mostly only foccussed on pills, and don't seem to realise that quality of life might mean something other than this for some people, the drugs can affect this, and in some cases, for some people, the side efects may outweigh the seiazures.Take B vitamins, especially B6, and magnesium. There is research that shows that these can help to protect the body against seizures..
