Brain tumor survivor writes her first book
Fri, 08/16/2019 - 16:10Hello everyone. My name is Sierra. I'm 23 years old and am a brain tumor survivor from Hypothalamic Hamartoma. I had epilepsy, constant "Gelastic, laughing" seizures on a daily basis and poor social skills. It was removed when I was 8. My anxiety got 10x worse, I got bullied in school, and had learning disabilities. However, I recently wrote my first book, which has been published. It's titled "Weird Girl With a Tumor" and it talks about my experiences and hardships I faced with the tumor. I believe if you share your story with others, they will gain some understanding on you and who you are, without judging.
