Well it is finally official

Well Lauren's Dr finally gave me a diagnosis. She does have confirmed epilepsy. But they still don't know what is causing it. she said it is idiopathic which I guess means that they don't know the cause. At least now I can get some answers as to what to do. Kind of anyway. If there is any good books or anything that anyone can recommend it would be appreciated. I am thinking about contacting an epilepsy center in MN. if anyone knows about this center would appreciate any help I can get. she is on trileptol which is helping her partial seizures but the behavior thing is really getting on my nerves would love any help I can get. please feel free to email me. Oh yeah Lauren is only 8 years old. and this is really tough on her too. Tchaide05

I've read some really good epilepsy books that i think you and your daughter might enjoy: A Guide to Uderstanding and Livig with Epilepsy by Orrin Devinsky, Epilepsy: the facts by Anthony Hopkins, and Lee, The Rabbit With Epilepsy by Deborah Moss.
