Tremors while writing

My 7 yr.old with partial seizures ,on Trileptal since Sept had complained of tremors while she was doing her homework. Her handwriting was definitely shaky toward the end of the page. Anyone else have experience with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have had that problem at times too. Sometimes I could'nt write at all. Must be more frustrating for a young girl. My advice would be to phone her doctor and tell him about it. Try to keep track of when it happens, soon after meds?,has she eaten?, is she tired? It may be the type of med or the dose may be too high. In my case my new epi took one look at me and knew it was one of my meds and changed them, now I have no problem with that. I sure hope this helps and that things get better for her.Let us know. Smiles.

Thanks so much for your response, she was definitely tired. She didn't have any in school today but she did have an episode of double vision. She had her dose decreased in the hospital for eeg video monitoring so we have just gotten her back to her pre- hospital dose. I was thinking it was her body getting used to the higher dose.
