Sleep Deprivation lowers threshold for seizures?

Mon, 07/24/2006 - 22:27
My daughter's seizures occur during sleep. My doctor has indicated that if my child falls out of a sleep pattern and becomes tired over a period of time, her threshold is lower and she is more likely to have a seizure in her sleep. Has anyone had similiar info. or experience?
