Parents interested in sharing their story

Hi, I am a junior in high school and I am writing a paper for AP biology about benign rolandic epilepsy. I suffered from this particular form of epilepsy from the age of 3 until 12 but I hardly remember what it was like. Looking back to this time I think it was worse for my parents than for me because I basically grew up with this condition. So I would like to hear your story and experiences. How old is your child? Does your child have problems in school or generally problems with learning? At what age did he/she show symptoms? What are/were the biggest issues you are/were facing? Do you think there is a stigma attached to BRE? On what medication is/was your child? Do they remember seizures or are they aware of having had a seizure? You are free to share whatever your comfortable sharing! Thank you so much!!!
