Multiple seizures in baby

My son has had multiple myoclonic seizures a tonic clinic seizure, and a partial. He is about to turn 10 months old and is currently taking 3.5mls of keppra with little effect. Has any experienced this and if so what did you do to help control the seizures? In his first 24hr eeg his dr stoppid counting at 50 myoclonic jerks. MRI was normal.

Are you working with an epileptologist? Are you working with docs at a major children's research hospital? Is your doc looking for metabolic and other causes which might require a very different treatment approach? It is most helpful on treatment to know what kind of epilepsy or syndrome the child has, so push for a specific diagnosis where possible. Some types of epilepsy are quite intractable, like Dravet. But things like the epidiolex study were aimed at intractable forms of epilepsy so it might impact your decisions to go outside the current treatment offerings your doc currently has access to.
