Looking for insight

My son has seizures. Hes had 2 grandmals and lots of absence. He is on depakote and keppra. We are starting to wean him off keppra. But over the last week he has been tired to the point of napping without being told to and very violent and disobedient. Hitting kicking scratching. He does have behavior problems but the only time I see those is when his medicine is upped. It hasn't been changed in 2 months. Could this be more of a seizure or side effects?

Hello. My daughter could not take depekote because of the aggression and anger it caused. Keppra also can cause these issues but from personal experience my 6 year old is on keppra and is irritable at times but she could not tolerate the depekote. Which stinks because it was a good medicine that controlled her seizures more then others♀️
