thanx Barbie for your imput. my son sees a pediatric neurologist, however he has seen the nurse practioner most of the time. just found out today that the np will be leaving after this week. i know his dr knows his stuff, but i feel like we need more...ie...maybe veeg,another cat scan. i just don't know anymore. we have struggled for almost 4 years now and i will accept the possibilty of this never getting better than this as long as everything possible has been done. had the vns turned up again today and go back in 2 weeks to increase the times it goes off from 5 minutes to 3 minutes. if this doesn't help possibly increase the zonegran or add another med...ugh!!!!! again thanx cindy
