DC Epilepsy Meet-up

Tue, 07/09/2019 - 16:02
I hope this does not come off as inappropriate, but I am actually working on behalf of a consulting firm that wants to meet with epilepsy patients or their caregivers in DC. Their goal is to learn more about their stories and figure out how they can improve the patient journey and experiences. My client would truly appreciate hearing about patient experiences and how they can help improve them. They would be happy to compensate the patients $500 for their time. Again, I apologize if this does not seem appropriate-- I am reaching out with only good intentions! I wanted to know if there was any way my information and intentions could be shared with your community. My email is Michaella.librizzi@alphasights.com and my phone is 646-396-3794. I appreciate any help! All the best, Michaella

Hello, curious to find out

Hello, curious to find out what consulting firm you’re working with in D.C. I live in Boulder, co. I am a nurse consultant for school, daycares and private schools. I also have personal family history with epilepsy. I do training  for emergency meds for students with seizures with school staff. Over the years I have run into so many parents that don’t even know where to begin the journey. I have mentored a young adult group, worked as a nurse at the epilepsy camp, created a music program for the camps for several years. I am now trying to create a program for new parent/caregivers. Any thoughts? Always hopeful, Michelle
