CBD oil to treat seizures?

Mon, 04/15/2019 - 05:04
Does anyone have any recommendations for CBD oil with no THC to treat seizures? My partner is pregnant and has had to go off all their seizure meds but their doctor said a roll on non ingested version of CBD oil may help to stop the seizures if they don’t pass on their own. I don’t know anything about this as I don’t live it but I’m just trying to find out if that’s true and what will help. I just want to keep them and our unborn child as safe as possible.

please see a neurologist or ideally and epilepsy specialist who can properly treat a woman with seizures who is pregnant. CBD is a drug and needs monitorjng by a doctor who is familiar with it. There is a medicine called Epidiolex which is made up of cbd oil that has known amounts and safety and would be safer to use. Take a look at this section to find an epilepsy specialist - https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/find-epilepsy-specialist/find-epilepsy-center
