Okay so I’m new to this site. I’m a 20yr old female. No history of seizures, no seizures in my family, never had a head injury, healthy for the most part. For some background on what’s going on, I’ve had severe anxiety since October 2015. So bad that I never get a break from my own mind. It’s deliberating and I sometimes don’t leave the house for days. I also have very bad panic attacks. I’ve had maybe 10 since I first developed anxiety. So here’s what’s happening now. I found out I was pregnant November of 2016. My baby’s dad didn’t want me to go through with the pregnancy and he broke up with me. I was under so much stress for months. In February of 2017 I started having random bouts of déjà vu. They were just mild but then it started happening a lot. Sometimes a couple times a day for a week. And then not for a month. I googled and googled for hours causing extreme anxiety. All that came up was TLE (temporal lobe epilepsy). I never had the fear or sore tummy or anything after. But YESTERDAY I had the worst bout of déjà vu in a long time. I hadn’t had it for a month or so and I honestly forgot all about it. I was standing at Niagara Falls with my son and boyfriend when he said something that sounded EXTREMELY familiar and I started getting the déjà vu feeling, I tried to ignore it and turn on music but that didn’t help. After the dejavu which only lasted 10ish seconds, I started to panic. Now my problem is, I can’t tell if it was a panic attack or TLE symptoms. I started to feel nauseous but not enough to throw up. And then I felt tired and out of it, which happens after my panic attacks. But then I stayed up for 5 hours googling what it could be. Nothing else pops up except TLE. I’m beyond stressed. Someone please relate to this... I don’t need more health problems right now.

I talked to my family doctor and he just thinks I’m crazy... he referred me to a neurologist whom I will be seeing in August. He said he wouldn’t normally give a referral but he wants me to have peace at mind. It’s still happening though... the déjà vu

I am new to this site too...I

I am new to this site too...I identify totally with your deja vu symptoms - get to your appointment, don’t be shy about discussing everything you can with your Dr., and if you don’t like him/her or still have questions, be sure to find another doc asap! Help is out there...it took me 52 years to find it!!!!
