Hello friends, my 2 year old daughter has epilepsy with focal and generalized seizures. She is currently taking 3 different medications and is still having 10 to 15 seizures a month. I want to try CBD oil but not sure how the dosage works. We are currently in between doctors. Her current one said we need to find someone new. I’m looking at Charlotte’s web but again not sure which strength or dose to do. Please help...

Doctors can’t just drop

Doctors can’t just drop complex patients like your child. There is a duty of care. Ideally they would help refer you to another specialist, you should be asking for referrals to an epileptologist that would take your insurance.  A lot depends on where you live but a pediatric epileptologist would have many patients in similar situation as your child, would have experience with dietary treatment (has that been tried?) and most likely would have patients who might be using cbd oils.
