Lamotrogine Supplier

Mon, 01/27/2020 - 12:14
I have been taking CADISTA brand lamotrigine for over 10 years, albeit very difficult to get a hold of. I live in FL and have to have my family get it for me in CT at a Costco and mail it to me. It is just not available anywhere. I have called hundreds of pharmacies in Florida and contacted CADISTA, and still have to go through the COSTCO in CT. A couple of weeks ago COSTCO was unable to get CADISTA and prescribed ALEMBIC. It seemed fine, then about a week later I was having trouble sleeping, on week 2 I could not get more than 1 or 2 hours of sleep. Finally, on Friday morning I had a severe panic attack, unlike anything I could ever imagine, at WORK! I am a fourth grade teacher. Has anyone had similar issues? Everytime I have tried to switch suppliers I have an issue. With TEVA lamotrigine I got swollen lymphnodes. Many years ago on TEGRETOL when I was switched to TARO I ended up having seizures multiple times a day for over a year, that CADISTA lamotrigine finally solved. CADISTA lamotrigine has been a lifesaver, I am just so scared of not being able to get it. I was able to track it down with the help of family in CT at a small mom and pop shop and it will be delivered today. I am hoping that everything will just go back to normal quickly.

Thank you for your response.  I am currently back on the Cadista since last nights dosage.  But I am so irritable and anxious, this is very similar as to 2010 when I went through a similar situation, and it took me months, if not years to get rid fo the anxiety.

Hello, Thank you for the posting. I would think lamotrigine is used alone or with other medications to prevent and control seizures. Lamotrigine is an anti-epileptic medication, also called an anticonvulsant. To get more information visit: https://www.pipelinepharma.com/lamotrigine-manufacturers
