Lamictal withdrawal

Fri, 08/02/2019 - 17:47
I've been taking 150 mg 2x daily for ... 7 years, maybe 8? I had surgery over 3 years ago, and haven't had a seizure since :D So I'm hoping I can wean off the lamictal and actually be seizure med free for the first time in 25 years. I weaned off Lyrica 2 years ago, and that was no fun at all. The doc suggested weaning off over 6 weeks, has anyone else tried this? I just want to have an idea of what to look out for.

I am prescribed to take 200

Submitted by sunshinedaydream77 on Mon, 2020-01-27 - 11:46
I am prescribed to take 200/mg two times a day and I only take 100/mg a day.  I weened off slowly and barely noticed a withdrawl. Ive been taking the 100/2x a day for over 4 years and I am seizure free and clear headed, unless of course I cannot get CADISTA brand, then there are issues.  Good luck!  I hope to ween off and try CBD soon.
