Help with Medication

Wed, 05/16/2018 - 11:48
I have had epilepsy for over 10 years now as a result of a stroke. I currently take both seizure medications and blood thinner medications. I often get headaches and it seems every pain medicine I try should not be taken if you are on blood thinner. Or, if the medication is safe to take on blood thinners then it should not be taken if you have a history of seizures. The only safe over the counter medication that seems to be safe is Tylenol, which does not work for me. Ibuprofen works better, but the bottle says not to take it if I am on blood thinner. I am going to see my doctor soon and I hope he can prescribe a medication I can take that will be safe. Does anyone here know of a safe pain medication that can be taken while on blood thinners and with epilepsy? Like I said, Tylenol does not work.
