are there novel anticonvulsant w least suicidr, rage risk?

im 27, male, with tle and intrrictal rage plus depression, this diagnosis was based on climical history. i am on lithium slow 1200mg, clonazepam 4mg, valproate 1g slow with risperidone 6mg. we are going to drop lithium and valproate and in the near future risperidone also due to extreme side effects. i used to be on Lamotrigine and lacosamide but was hospitalized for attempted suicide due to anger. im probably sure clonazepam 4mg divided twice wont work alone. i am very afraid of topiramate becoz of kidney stone risk and possibility of psychotic mood changes and i read that only doses above 400mg work for severe aggresdion not sue though but i dont want stones. are there novel aeds with a more tolerable profile at least as it regards to suicidalness? gabaergics make me too euphoric for some reason. what approach one might take? i will discuss with my doctor, of course.

Have you ever discussed

Have you ever discussed surgical treatments for epilepsy?  I too have mood problems that doctors now admit are probably due to activity in my right temporal lobe.  Some medications help decrease seizure activity but these leave me with increased anger and aggression.  I'm working with my doctor on getting Responsive Nerve Stimulator implanted.  I worry a little that the treatment may work and leave me more aggressive.  But I am hopeful that the treatment will provide extra control of these emotional outbursts.  Ans since it can be programmed to different levels of control I hope that it can be set to a level that will not leave me with too much mood problems.

i want to keep surgery and implants out because i am too phobic for such. do you have any idea about rtms? i know it can be proconvulsive but maybe it might help paraictal/interictal irritability and extreme aggression? do you know anything about it? if it works, i might just as well do fine with lesser meds. please advise.

I'm sorry; I have not heard

I'm sorry; I have not heard of rtms. I had to look it up and found NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for depression.  Is this what you are referring to?  Sound fascinating.  I'm sure seizures, depression, and mood are all linked.  If it helps you get along with less medication I think it would be worth it.
