Well how does someone feel??

Well how does someone feel?? That depends on different things. I feel with my hands. I feel the wind blowing across my face. The water splashing off me can be from rainfall or someone diving in the pool. Now if it is what you think that is a different story. How one things or questions is definitely different. If you have questions then ask them. Why do I have epilepsy? What caused my epilepsy?  Those are thoughts and not feelings. One may think they are out there alone so they may feel alone. But think some. Do you know anybody around that has a heart problem? Or diabetes? Or can't walk? They too question/So today you were diagnosed with epilepsy.. Did the neurologists say which type of epilepsy? Did the neurologists say which type of seizures you might have? If they talked to your parents then ask them the types of epilepsy and types of seizures. Once you have those by all means research this site and read. You are no different today then you were yesterday. You can do what the guy next-door does. Depending on the type of epilepsy you may out grow it. There are medications created to stop the seizures. So relax and research. It took time but Doc and I have gotten the number of seizures I was having down to a seizure every 8-14 days that last a few seconds. If I had one whit you standing by me you would know nothing about it. So ask questions and research

My 11 year-old was diagnosed with epilepsy in April and his neurologist held his little face in his hands and said, "You are normal. You just have epilepsy" Those words brought comfort to him.

My daughter is 17, she was diagnosed last July, since then she has had almost 100 seizures, and they still are not controlled with medication. She has frontal lobe partial generalized seizures. I am trying to connect her to other epileptic teens.  If you are interested, please reach out chantel.bedlington@gmail.com.
