Epilepsy Awareness - Teenagers

Thu, 05/25/2017 - 19:53
Hi! Id' really appreciate it if someone could please take the time to read this, it is very important to me. I have been diagnosed with epilepsy since I was 4 years old and I am now 17 and still not under control. I feel rather alone because of the fact people are ignoring my request, which is very important to me in raising awareness about people with the same condition as me because I know how hard it is. I study at Mountain Creek SHS in Queensland Sunshine Coast. I study Science 21 and currently our topic is Psychology with cause and effect on a teenager. I thought because epilepsy is a life changing thing for the patient and families, I would study how epilepsy and likewise syndromes effect someone's mental health. All I would need in order to go ahead with this research, is 10 people to answer a small 15 question survey. Maybe more people would be awesome but I'm not expecting many replies as I know this can breach certain personal barriers for some. But it is all anonymous, all I need is age and gender. I am aiming for ages between 10-18. I know that is hard to do but older people would be okay too. Please email me back if you have more questions or simply saying no I'd much appreciate it. I can send you the survey and even my report so far. Thank you for reading, hope to hear back from you :) Email: ewebb44@eq.edu.au
