Sugar Trigger

Wed, 10/23/2019 - 08:34
I know what triggers my seizures, but that list has grown the older I get (in my 40's now). I discovered recently that when I have too much sugar, primarily in the form of sweets (brownies, pie, cake etc), I get a strange feeling very similar to an auroa. I contribute this to an increase in my glucose level. I'm not diabetic and in the past sweets have only made me nauseous until a week ago. I wanted to just brush this off and make an excuse that I just had too many sweets and I'm not used to it, but I cannot ignore this. Has anyone, that is not diabetic, find this to be a trigger? I've always been in that small percentage, but it would help to know that I'm not alone.
