Standing up before seizure?

Mon, 12/09/2019 - 18:55
Hi! I only have seizures in my sleep and as I sleep alone, I never really knew what happened, etc. However, I had a friend see one where I stood up out of bed and just dropped and had a seizure. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced standing up before a seizure? Thought that was very odd. Sometimes I find myself sitting up when I get a little shaky while falling asleep--I think I sit up as a reaction out of fear.

Hi, my adult son, who lives with me because of his seizures has ran the gamete of seizure activity.  He will wake up out of bed having a seizure. He is like a walking zombie, drooling on himself and just stumbling around.  It is so scary for me because I'm afraid I wont hear him and he will hurt himself.  He also has seizures during the day the are preceded by auras. He remembers none of these.
