Seizure at work

I had a seizure at work a few days ago. They told me to take as much time as I need. I have some anxiety about going back to work, I’m not quite sure why. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

In early February of 2016 I had 2 seizures at work and threw up during the second. I didn't have anxiety about going back, I was more feeling guilty for it happening and wanted to get right back to work lol.. my boss and the EMT's convinced me to go to the ER where they helped me get a neurologist and gave me an IV. I ended up taking the next day off for my appointment and showed back up at work that afternoon to talk to my boss about it (and apologize for scaring everyone and feeling like I wasted their time) but I went on and off several medications. I've been seizure free since may 2017 though. I hope you can find something that works

Hey there, I haven't had a seizure at work, but the anxiety about it is really relatable. What helped me was seeing another person at my workplace--who DID have a seizure there--continue to be a valued, respected, and much liked employee. If your job doesn't make your seizures more dangerous, than hang in there, and you'll be happy to be back at work. However, if you say "you really don't know why" you're so anxious, just know that if the anxiety becomes a LOT to deal with, than it totally makes sense to see a therapist, even short term, to kind of process the trauma and learn how to cope with the possibility of seizures in an emotionally healthy way.

Sorry I had one at work in 2 separate places and they both fired me. Even though I had been working there for over a year at both places
