Newbie focal epilepsy 23YOA- anyone relate?

Wed, 02/14/2018 - 18:30
I was recently diagnosed with focal epilepsy a few months ago.. but I'm pretty sure I've always had sporadic seizures without realizing at the age of 5 and 13. (I am currently 23YOA) I've had ice pick migraines and persistent migraines behind my left eye since I was 17 or so with confusion and vomiting, light sensitivity, etc.. as of December my seizures turned into daily right sided convulsions with left sided facial twitching and nonsense speech or I'm unable to talk completely. Sometimes I cant understand sounds from my surroundings, but that's gotten better since I've been prescribed Keppra 3000mg daily. However, I'm still getting seizures almost every day lasting 2-3minutes usually. Can anyone else relate to this? I've been looking for more answers to this, as I'd like to know what's going on/where my seizures are coming from. My EEG showed slow waves and delta/theta activity on both right and left sides, but moreso on the right. I'm a little confused as to which hemisphere is also causing my seizures as my head drops to the left, left facial twitching but my right side convulses. Would this be considered a complex partial seizure or a generalized one? Thank you!
