memory testing for disabity

Thu, 02/08/2018 - 09:39
I was sent to a psychologist as part of my disability claim . Unfortunately I think I passed . The test consisted of flash cards, story recall and a test where they say a a list of two words and you need to match them when one is repeated . Has anyone done this type of testing ?

Yes. I have had that test 3 times. If they think brain surgery is a good idea, then you are having the test to see if brain surgery will impact your intellect. My past tests called it a "Neurophysiological exam". They are testing alot and you can have your opinion on the results. The first time I took the test, they said I had a "memory disorder".(B.S.! I realize I'm forgetful with somethings but....I am not worthy of a "disorder") It makes a good excuse for everything though!(oops..sorry I forgot but, I can't help that!) The last test I had 3 years ago was by a new doctor who told me I had: a memory disorder, attention problems, balance so bad I should be seeing a specialist and trouble finding my words. UH......B.S! I'm fine!

Thanks for the input.  I

Thanks for the input.  I believe it was a cognitive test they gave me . I don't think I have memory issues . I may have "selective memory", but my wife is the only one that is affected.  I imagine this is a side effect of being married . God bless her for the hell I've put her through.  Can't wait to see what the state will conclude.   Thanks again
