How exactly do aura's feel

Mon, 05/15/2006 - 11:30
How exactly do aura's feel? Can you have aura's and not have an actual seizure? I think I had some this weekend. I went off into like a "spacy" feeling. Like I was tingling and I couldn't make myself snap out of it for a few seconds. I have had a headache since I has these feelings. I have had E a long time, but I am new to all the terminology and so forth. Thanks.

Hi, I have been having seizures tonic clonic seizures since I was 15. I am 40 now. I always have auras before hand. For me it's a tingling sensation that goes through my whole body like a wave. Then stops and starts again. I get hot flushes, and feel sweaty and lose concentration on what ever I'm doing. It's a panic, anxious feeling and yes very scary and I'm always crying when I have them because I know I'm going to fit. I had 2 the other day and ever since then i've felt depressed and had a bit of memory loss. It's a terrible frightening feeling and I don't have anyone to talk to who knows how I'm feeling.
