Generalised Intermittent Epileptiform Discharges

Tue, 12/31/2019 - 10:08
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed of Generalised intermittent epileptiform discharges and was on medication, Levera 500. However, I couldn't take the side effects of this medicine and had to stop it within a month, and I went ahead with some alternative treatment. If possible, would someone please explain more about this specific term 'Generalised Intermittent Epileptiform Discharges' and how serious it is, and what it means to avoid anticonvulsants in this case?
