Feelings after having had a seizure.

Mon, 07/05/2004 - 07:45
The other night I had a number of bad seizures. Now for the past 2 days I haven't been myself. It is very hard to describe but nothing looks or feels right. Can anyone else out there relate to this? I'm wondering if this is common or if it is just me. I hate the feelings I have. This is very hard to explain to my family and friends. Any input would be welcome.

I used to think my seizures were constant bad boughts with the flu because my simple partials mimiced the syptoms. While I now know that they are seizures, they still can hit me like the flu and when they come in waves, it can be like recovering from the flu. Your brain was in a storm and it can take a while to recover from the storm.Chris

It has taken me a while this time to feel back to myself again. My emotions are so strong that it is frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? Everything seems to bother me. Right now I feel like I am going crazy. Any input is helpful. I have read up on TLE what I am experiencing fits the description. Do support groups actually help??
