Hi my names cinthya, i've been dealing with seizures since i was 15 i am now 22 and till this day i have not been diagnosed with epilepsy. I'm on keppra 750mg started off on dilantin at age 15 but i refused to continue taking because i thought maybe all the drugs i was doing were causing them i am now sober for 3 years from everything. I started taking keppra 500mg 1 bid which was making me get seizures more often then usual, my neurologist increased my dosage to 750mg 1 bid which helps a lot except the auras. I have been told i get them because i was doing drugs, then i was told its because i fell when i was 1 month old i get random answers and all my eegs are normal. I haven't been diagnosed so at the moment i basically just get seizures for no reason. Its something hard to deal with especially living my life regular when i'm not even sure why i have seizures. If anyone else is going through this please feel free to message me, i haven't met anyone like me so far. Thank you.

I'm not sure what kind of drugs you were doing and are sober from now, but I think that drugs can cause brain trauma leading to ongoing seizures.  Again I'm not sure and since your doctor is not giving you a cause you may want to ask if the drugs could have done so.  This would demonstrate that you desire answers that they are not giving you.
